Recently, our kindergarten two (K2) children amazed teachers and parents by participating in a Little Entrepreneur Project, where they worked together in groups to create and “run” their own mini business.

The students were divided into small groups, and each group brainstormed ideas on what they wanted to “sell.” With guidance from their mentors, they chose simple products such as keychains and phone strap, family photo frames, cookie jars and personalised t-shirts.

Parents were invited to visit during the mini market day, creating a warm and supportive environment for the children to present their products. During the selling session, children practiced basic math skills by recognising numbers and counting money with teachers’ assistance. More importantly, they learned the value of effort — that their products were created with time, teamwork, and care.

The efforts showed that young minds are capable of big ideas! The project was designed to introduce children to basic entrepreneurial concepts such as teamwork, creativity, responsibility, and simple money management — all in a fun and age-appropriate way.

This project proved that entrepreneurship education can be introduced at an early age in a fun and simple way. By learning through play and collaboration, our kindergarten children took their first steps toward becoming creative thinkers and confident leaders of the future.

We are incredibly proud of our little entrepreneurs!
