Day two deepened the experience with a special cultural exchange at Kinderland Academy located at Yio Chu Kang,Singapore, where friendships were formed and learning becomes a shared language. Dressed in batik, our children proudly represented Indonesia. As part of a meaningful cross-cultural exchange programme, the children showcased and shared each other’s traditions, food, and cultural heritage—celebrating similarities while appreciating differences.

One of the highlights was a meaningful art and craft session where students and parents collaborated to create handmade soap together, guided by the dedicated teachers and principals of Kinderland Academy.

The cultural immersion continued as children were introduced to Chinese traditions and cuisine – a traditional Chinese New Year salad, Yusheng. As they joyfully tossed the colourful ingredients together, they learnt about symbolism of prosperity, unity, and good fortune—gaining a deeper appreciation of cultural diversity through shared celebration. The students continued to explore the National Library Board, followed by a memorable stop at the iconic Merlion. The day concluded at Gardens by the Bay, where children marvelled at the breathtaking Super trees and experienced the spectacular evening light show—an enchanting display that beautifully blends nature, technology, and creativity, leaving a lasting impression of wonder and inspiration.

Finally, the children return home carrying new friendships, strengthened independence, and memories that will last a lifetime.
