Kinderland Preschool @ Kuningan held its Children’s Music Programme (CMP) concert on 10 March 2025. The joyful and celebratory occasion showcased to parents what the children learned and achieved through the unique CMP.

This year’s concert featured a delightful selection of familiar rhymes and songs from around the world. From keyboard performances and vocal renditions to percussion rhythms and captivating dances, the audience was thoroughly entertained by the children’s brilliant performances.

The repertoire included beloved classics such as “Hot Cross Buns”, a traditional rhyme from England. “The More We Get Together” and “Don’t You Worry” are popular tunes from America featured in the concert. The children also entertained the audience with “Dancing Queen” by ABBA, a famous pop hit from Sweden. Many other lively songs were included in the concert’s delightful line-up.

The kindergarten children proudly performed on the keyboard, while others enjoyed the rhythmic hand drum performance. Each item filled the school hall with enthusiastic applause from delighted parents and families.

Guided by professional music teachers, Kinderland’s CMP plays an essential role in children’s development by nurturing keyboard skills, introducing the basics of musical theory, encouraging music appreciation, and fostering singing and ensemble playing. Engaging with music enhances children’s cognitive abilities, including memory, language, and numeracy skills. Singing helps to build vocabulary and improve language comprehension, while rhythm-based activities strengthen coordination and motor skills. Collaborative singing and group instrument play teach teamwork, foster social interaction, and provide opportunities for emotional expression, all of which contribute to the children’s social and emotional growth.

Recognising the importance of music from an early age, Kinderland’s renowned music-infused curriculum serves as a powerful catalyst for holistic development, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning in young children.
