Excitement reverberated in the air as Kinderland Preschool @ Kuningan geared up to celebrate the festival of joy and to give with great spirit. Teachers made great effort to decorate the school with Christmas decorations. Children practised singing and dancing to songs and Christmas carols for the Christmas concert. A pleasant and happy atmosphere filled the centre.

On 18 November 2022, parents were invited to attend the “Annual Christmas Concert” performed by the children. Our children put up a great variety of performances – from solo performance, musical instruments ensemble and body percussion to song and dance. Parents were proud as they watched their children performed confidently and showcase their best talents during the concert. Others shared that they were very impressed and touched to witness their children overcome stage fright and various difficulties in performing. These were only made possible through learning and practice with the help of their teachers. The children’s joy and excitement ignited at the end of the concert when Santa Claus made his appearance and brought each child a special gift.

Everyone had a wonderful time at the Kinderland Kuningan Christmas Celebration.

In conjunction with this year’s Christmas theme of making a difference, the centre published “My First Book”, a collection of drawings and short stories contributed by our Kindergarten children. This book was created to raise funds for “Gerobak Pintar” – a project to spread the joy of reading to the less privileged children in Indonesia. Sale proceeds from the books helped raise a total of more than one million rupiahs for the Gerobak Pintar project. Everyone was proud that our children played their part this Christmas in giving back to the community.
