Kinderland Preschool @ Pakubuwono has been chosen to represent the District of Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta in the annual ‘Sekolah Sehat’ or ‘Healthy, Clean School Competition’ organized by the Indonesian government. The competition aims to promote healthy and clean environments in schools, and we are proud to have been selected from among over 40 kindergartens in our district.

To prepare for the competition, our preschool organized various initiatives to educate our children about healthy habits and lifestyles. These initiatives included reading books about healthy living, ensuring that children have breakfast every day, teaching them to brush their teeth and wash their hands thoroughly, and arranging for physical activities during breaks to promote healthy physical development.

We also conduct health screenings and periodic health check-ups at least once a year, including the immunization drive ‘School Child Immunization Month (BIAS)’ for students aged one to five years old.

Assessing our children’s physical development

On February 24, 2023, a team of 35 members from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, and Ministry of Religion visited our classrooms, sick bay, library, and garden as part of the evaluation process.

As Kinderland Preschool @ Pakubuwono celebrates its 20th anniversary, we are proud and honored to have been selected for the competition. We remain committed to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for all our students, with their health and well-being being our top priority. We would like to extend our gratitude to the Suku Dinas Pendidikan Jakarta Selatan 2, Kecamatan Kebayoran Baru, Kelurahan Gunung, and Puskesmas Kebayoran Baru for their strong support and assistance.
