In Kinderland, we introduce our children to different countries, languages, and cultures worldwide through ‘Connecting with the World’, a Kindergarten Two (K2) theme in Term 3. In February 2025, the children of Kinderland Preschool @ Pulomas were thrilled to visit a Kinderland centre in Singapore. The children and staff from Kinderland Academy @Yio Chu Kang warmly welcomed the thirteen families from Kinderland Preschool @ Pulomas.

It was a joyful occasion as students from Kinderland Jakarta and Singapore connected through various play-based activities. They also shared stories about their favourite foods from their respective countries. The trip was a brilliant and enriching experience for the children, who spent three days in Singapore together with their families and friends. They visited a variety of places, including Kinderland Academy, the Art Science Museum, and several other cultural and educational landmarks.

While children from Kinderland Singapore entertained their guests with a medley of local songs. Parents were also engaged with their children, learning a new skill as they created personalized, natural soaps through a workshop prepared by the Singapore team.

A meaningful gift of ‘Kuda Lumping’ from Kinderland @ Pulomas to Kinderland Academy @ Yio Chu Kang.

This cultural exchange programme provided the children with an opportunity to immerse themselves in a new environment, experience diverse traditions, and connect meaningfully with peers from another country. It was a valuable experience in enhancing the children’s social-emotional growth, building confidence and promoting a deeper appreciation of cultural diversity.
