Kinderland Preschool Surabaya celebrated its International Friendship Day and KinderChef 2015 last Friday, 23 October.
The students and teachers graced the school with their colorful outfits from various countries, and greeted everyone in different languages. The Pre-Nursery Creative class then wowed the crowd with their Indonesian dance, followed by the American cowboy dance of the Nursery Capable 1 and the Chinese dance of the Nursery Capable 2. Not to be outdone, the K1 Confident 1 class presented their Egyptian dance, while the K1 Confident 2 class showcased their Japanese dance. Lastly, the K2 Caring class amazed the audience with their Korean dance. All the parents enjoyed their children’s well applauded performance.
Another highlight of the occasion was the KinderChef 2015. During this event, our students paired up with their mothers to whip up delicious desserts, which left the panel of judges smiling and craving for more. The KinderChef top 3 winners received vouchers from Ranch Market together with trophies and certificates.
The program ended with the singing of “Hello to All the Children of the World” by the K1 and K2 students, and words of thanks by the principal.
