Off We Go! Kinderland Muara Karang Fieldtrip Day

Fieldtrip days are more than just a fun outing—it is a valuable learning experience for our children. Through exploration and hands-on activities, children expand their knowledge, build confidence, develop independence, and nurture their curiosity about the world around them.

Our Pre-Nursery to K2 children recently visited ‘Ocean Dream Samudra, Ancol’, that offered them a unique opportunity to observe sea animals. The purpose of this fieldtrip was to provide children with meaningful hands-on learning experiences beyond the classroom. By observing sea animals, they learned about ocean life, animal habitats, and the importance of caring for the environment.

This fieldtrip also supported their overall growth and development. Children had the opportunity to explore a new environment, ask questions, and learn through real-life experiences, especially when they touched and fed the animals. These experiences helped build their curiosity while expanding their knowledge and vocabulary.

Our students  returned home with stories about their experiences which reflected not only their excitement but also the learning that had taken place. These shared experiences create lasting memories. Parents  extended their child’s learning by taking time to listen to their stories, ask open-ended questions about what they saw and learned thereby encouraging them to share their favourite moments from the trip.
