Through hands-on experiences, they learn to express their ideas, ask questions and engage with the world around them.
By Kindergarten 2 (K2), these skills come together as children prepare for the expectations of primary school. They develop greater confidence in reading, writing, numeracy, creativity, and communication while becoming increasingly independent in managing routines, completing tasks, and working with others. They also develop empathy and an awareness of the needs of others, including underprivileged children. Through our S.T.R.E.A.M. collaborative projects, children are encouraged to go beyond recalling information. They develop a scientific mindset, make connections, and ask “why” and “how” as they explore ideas and make informed choices.
Ultimately, readiness for primary school is not about rushing children to achieve academic milestones. It is about building strong foundations, step by step. Throughout this journey, children develop as curious thinkers, confident communicators, capable learners and resilient problem-solvers.
