Our little storytellers of Kindergarten Two (K2) at Kinderland Preschool @ Bonavista did it again! They brought home Gold and Silver trophies from Kidpublish Storytelling Festival 2024! Bravo and Congratulations to Erika and Aliyori! You made us all proud!
The qualifying rounds was a storytelling video of each participant, submitted on 16 September 2024. There were eleven children from Kinderland Preschool @ Bonavista who took the challenge and submitted their videos. Our K2 teacher, Ms Abigail prepared and coached them on how to pronounce and enunciate the words well.
Erika and Aliyori were chosen as two-of the finalists from 73 participants-from preschools around Jakarta, Bekasi, BSD, Bintaro and Bandung. The storytelling final competition was held on 5 October 2024 in Central Market, Pantai Indah Kapuk.
With a cheery attitude and enthusiasm, Erika presented an English story entitled ‘A Day in the Farm’. She expressively told the story with clear and well projected voice.
While Aliyori, with his determined effort, narrated another English story entitled, ‘The Two Dogs’. Aliyori’s warm introduction and good pacing was evident while he was telling the story.
Without any doubt Kinderland Preschool @ Bonavista students, were extraordinary storytellers as they established good connection with the audience in many points in their stories. Also, they have good pronunciation and enunciation of words, so, the story lines were well understood by the listeners. Both Erika and Aliyori have memorized the stories very well that they were able to deliver the stories confidently.
Our other wonderful participants Emily, Yu, Jethro, Tantrama, Reia, Hannah, Claryta, Bari and Rheina also did their very best to memorize and share their stories too. We are so proud of all of them too!
