On 17th April 2026, an Eid Celebration was held at Kinderland Bonavista. Eid is not only a religious celebration but also a meaningful opportunity for children to learn and grow. Through the sounds of the ‘Bedug’ Drum and Prayer Call – ‘Takbir’, they experienced culture and rhythm, while saying “Mohon maaf lahir dan batin” teaches forgiveness, kindness and empathy. Traditions like travelling back to their hometown, highlighted strong family bonds and dishes like ‘Ketupat’ and ‘Chicken Opor’ introduce rich cultural heritage.
The celebration included fun activities such as dances, songs, a short skit, and a fashion show with parents. It aims to introduce Eid traditions, build confidence, and encourage appreciation of culture, family, and community.
Through this, children expressed themselves confidently, practised forgiveness, showed respect and developed social skills, creativity, and cultural awareness. It was truly a blessed Eid Mubarak at Kinderland Bonavista!
